Spotlight: Tammy Cowart

UT Tyler Students in Free Enterprise, led by Tammy Cowart, assistant professor of business law, was awarded the 2010 Domestic Violence Hope Award by the East Texas Crisis Center for SIFE’s Dress 4 Success project completed last year.

Students who participated in the project were Keyontia Miller, Kaitlin Brown, Jill Walker, Amber Grimes, Ana Blanco, Whitney Ray and Cedric James.

The student organization was recognized during a ceremony Oct. 6 at the Tyler Public Library.
