UT Tyler One-Stop Enrollment Services Center Construction Nears Completion
October 4, 2010
Beginning Monday, Oct. 4, part of the UT Tyler Administration Building will be temporarily closed as final construction stages of the One-Stop Enrollment Services Center are completed, Charlie Hutchins, assistant vice president for enrollment management, marketing and customer service, announced.
No through traffic will be allowed in the second floor hallway for about a month. Signs will be posted from the University Center side as well as on the stairwell door at the construction site prohibiting entrance.
The UT Tyler Office of Financial Aid has been temporarily located in ADM 348 during this time. In addition to the center, the space also is being redesigned to provide admissions counselors with office space to meet with potential students and their families and accommodate expansion of the UT Tyler Office of the Registrar.
The UT Tyler One-Stop Enrollment Services Center will give students a centralized location to handle admissions, financial aid and registrar needs.
Enrollment management staff will provide students personalized service and the necessary tools to easily manage their education, according to Hutchins.
The One-Stop Enrollment Services Center also supports student recruitment and retention efforts by immediately, clearly and accurately responding to the applicants’ and students’ initial questions, he added.
