Spotlight: Barbara Trube

Alumna Barbara Trube was named assistant dean of the Patton College of Education and Human Services at Ohio University.

She currently is an associate professor of early childhood education at Ohio University’s Chillicothe campus.

A Tyler native, Trube holds a master of education in health and physical education as well as a master of education in early childhood education, both from UT Tyler.

She has published numerous articles on topics including conflict management in education, preschool to kindergarten transition and English immersion.
