Patriot Dancers Place Second in Competition

The Patriot Dancers dance group placed second in the 2010 American Dance and Drill Nationals Competition.

They competed against six other schools in the same division. Overall, 16 colleges and universities attended this year.

Dancers participating were: senior Robin Westby of Louisiana, juniors Manny Beddingfield of Tyler, Riplee Ganaway of The Woodlands, Natalie Keller of Arlington, Nicole Scott of Longview; and freshmen Kristin Daniel of Wylie, Whitney Jay of Jacksonville, Meghan Priestley of Katy and Kennon Raymond of Lindale.

Formed in 2006, the group performs at all home basketball games, Patriot Preview Days and Homecoming. This is their first competition to attend.
