New on Patrol

The UT Tyler Campus Police Department last month purchased a 2010 Dodge Charger for their patrol fleet. The cruiser shows a bolder, more modern police striping.

“We decided to purchase the charger after hearing from several other police departments that have them on their fleets.  The chargers appear to hold up well to the demands of police patrol driving,” said Mike Medders, UT Tyler chief of police. “We are not re-striping our current patrol vehicles, but in the future any new ones purchased will have the new striping package.”
