UT Tyler Enrollment Management Seeking Students for Communications Center
December 15, 2009
The UT Tyler Office of Enrollment Management currently is seeking three to four university students to work at its new Student Communications Center, Charlie Hutchins, assistant vice president for enrollment management and marketing, announced.
“The student communicators build relationships with prospective students using different communication channels. Their goal is to help students make an informed college decision,” Hutchins said.
The center is comprised of a group of university students who will use the phone, blogs, e-mail, Facebook, Twitter and chat programs to connect with prospective students who have expressed an interest in UT Tyler.
Center hours are 4 – 9 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday and Thursday and 4 – 7 p.m. Friday.
Workers must work with minimal supervision, have computer knowledge and/or experience with Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and other social media networking tools. There is a need for more female student-workers.
