Free H1N1 Vaccinations for Targeted Population at UT Tyler Ornelas Activity Center

UPDATE 9:15 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7: The Northeast Texas Public Health District will administer free H1N1 vaccinations to a targeted population at the UT Tyler Ornelas Activity Center Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 7 – 8.

Vaccinations will be given 9 a.m. – noon and 1 – 4 p.m. For an appointment, call 877.244.9641. There is a limited supply.

Targeted populations to receive the vaccine are:

• Pregnant
• Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months
• Health care and emergency medical services personnel
• All persons from 6 months – 24 years of age; and
• Persons 25 – 64 years old who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.
