Students in a university biology lab work on research assignments including VRV Virus extraction for biocontrol of glassy-winged sharpshooter, biocontrol of red-imported fire ant using chemical agents and the SINV1-Tx virus; and preparation of potatoes for psyllid feeding.
Through student/faculty research programs, UT Tyler students have an opportunity to enhance their learning experience.
