Scholarship Opportunity for UT Tyler Students

The UT Tyler Office of Community Relations is accepting applications for the UT Tyler Stella Crews and Erwin Douglas Dyer Community Service Scholarship.

Requirements include a minimum 3.5 GPA, full-time status (12 hours for undergraduates and nine hours for graduate students) and a letter of recommendation from a community service representative that provides verification regarding the applicant’s leadership skills, interest in community service and participation in university and community events to promote higher education.

Only community service and event participation during the 2009 spring semester may count for scholarship consideration.

Applications and recommendation forms are available in Administration Building, room 342. Deadline is Thursday, May 7.

Awards will be applied to student accounts for the 2009 fall semester.
