UT Tyler Teams Up with Habitat
April 7, 2009

Last month during UT Tyler’s Alternative Spring Break trip, UT Tyler students traveled to Corpus Christi to help build a house established by Habitat for Humanity of Taft.
UT Tyler will partner with Habitat for Humanity of Smith County as university volunteers will begin the first phase of construction on a home April 14 – 18.
The home's walls will be built on campus between the Ratliff Building South and Ratliff Building North. Once the walls are completed, they will be stored on campus and moved to the home’s permanent location in August.
