UN Ambassador Visits UT Tyler

The Kazakhstan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Byrganym Aitimova and First Secretary Rustem Sagindikov recently met with UT Tyler officials, faculty and students during the pair’s visit to UT Tyler and the city of Tyler.  

Aitimova discussed the relationships between Kazakhstan, the United Nations and United States during a public address on March 19 in the UT Tyler Braithwaite Recital Hall.

She also held an information session with the university’s Model UN delegation, which will represent Kazakhstan during the 2009 National Model UN Conference April 7 – 11.
