American Idol Winner David Cook to Perform at UT Tyler

The 2008 American Idol winner David Cook will perform at the UT Tyler main campus Monday, April 20, Ona Tolliver, student life and leadership director, announced.

The private concert begins at 8 p.m. in the UT Tyler Herrington Patriot Center gym. Doors open at 7 p.m. Special guest is Ryan Star.

Free UT Tyler student tickets are available 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Monday, March 16 in UT Tyler Administration Building, room 344. Each current UT Tyler student must present a valid UT Tyler student ID to receive their free ticket.

Current UT Tyler faculty and staff may purchase no more than two tickets for $5 each 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Monday, April 6 in ADM 344. UT Tyler students may purchase one additional ticket at the $5 price beginning April 6.

The university event is co-sponsored by the UT Tyler Campus Activities Board, Office of Greek Life and Office of Career Services.
