UT Tyler Mock Trial Preparations

(From left) UT Tyler junior Tricia Mehler, junior Natalie Hughes, junior Liz Green, Dr. Katherine Pang, assistant professor of criminal justice; junior Lorna Harris and junior Meagan Westbrook work on bringing a mock criminal trial tournament Friday, April 24 in the UT Tyler Robert Muntz Library.

These five students will represent prosecution and defense teams during the tournament. Students from criminal justice classes and the UT Tyler Pre-Law Society will serve as witnesses and members of the jury.

Local and university community members have been invited to participate in the public event. Volunteers are still needed for some roles. Specific requirements are needed from each volunteer and vary depending upon role.
