Dr. Katherine Pang, assistant professor of criminal justice (right standing), leads a class discussion. The UT Tyler Department of Social Sciences is an academic unit within the College of Arts and Sciences.

From the study of sociology and criminal justice, to geography and the economy, the social sciences department contributes to providing a liberal arts education to UT Tyler students.
