UT Tyler Chemistry Professor Dies

"The faculty, staff and students in the Department of Chemistry are deeply grieved over the death of Dr. Taylor. He was both a colleague and a close friend of the faculty and staff as well as an outstanding teacher and caring mentor to students. He positively impacted many lives. Dr. Brian K. Taylor, associate professor of chemistry, was found dead at his home Monday, Nov. 3.
Dr. Alisa White, College of Arts and Sciences dean, and Dr. Don McClaugherty, chemistry department chair, will meet with Taylor’s classes during their regularly scheduled times to provide information regarding how his classes will be handled.
