UT Tyler Business Affairs Office Welcomes Ron Rippe

Ron Rippe has joined the UT Tyler Office of Business Affairs as its new budget manager, Gregg Lassen, vice president for business affairs, announced.
He replaces Eva Burnett who accepted a position at UT San Antonio.
As the UT Tyler budget manager, Rippe provides support for the budget office such as preparing, developing and monitoring departmental budgets. He also will aid the office with the UT System Board of Regents policies and regulation compliance.
“I am excited to join the team at UT Tyler which offers great people, a pleasant work environment, quality academics and many other exciting opportunities,” said Rippe. “I plan to do my part to help us achieve our goal of making UT Tyler the best university in Texas.”
Rippe holds a master of business administration with an emphasis in accounting as well as a bachelor of science in business administration, both from Fort Hays State University in Kansas.
Rippe served as chief financial officer of Golden Belt Bank in Hays, Kan. for 14 years and most recently held a variety of managerial positions with Texas Book Company.
