Fulbright scholarships are available for UT Tyler faculty and students, Dr. Davor Jedlicka, UT Tyler professor of sociology, announced.
As a Fulbright scholar, faculty and students have an opportunity to participate in the most prestigious and travel-abroad program of its kind, according to Jedlicka, who has served on the Fulbright Association’s North Texas Chapter Board of Directors since June.

This year’s North Texas Fulbright Festival will be Monday, Nov. 17 at UT Arlington.

In 1989 he also was a co-director and grantee of the Fulbright-Hays and Group Projects Abroad program. He lead a group of 12 American scholars studying in Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia just before the Balkan wars.
