Autism Symposium to be held Oct. 25 at UT Tyler Muntz Library

Parent Services Center, Inc. will present a symposium Saturday, Oct. 25 at the UT Tyler Robert Muntz Library, room 401.

“Understanding the Autism Spectrum” will be 9 a.m. – noon. The event will highlight the role of various disciplines in the understanding, assessment and treatment of the disorder. Jana M. Sisk, Parent Services Center executive director, will serve as moderator. 

Early registration before Oct. 16 is $10. Late registration is $15. Continuing education credit is available for professional counselors, social workers and marriage and family therapists.

Parent Services Center is a nonprofit organization which seeks to provide parents and those who work with children the educational opportunities, resources and support necessary to raise a child who can become a healthy, contributing member of society.
