Office of Academic Affairs

Beth Bruce serves as the senior administrative associate for the UT Tyler Office of Academic Affairs. Among other duties, she assists Dr. Peter Fos, provost and vice president for academic affairs.

The Office of Academic Affairs’ goal is to ensure the university’s educational mission is carried out by exercising administrative responsibility for planning, implementing and overseeing academic programs to ensure excellence in our teaching, learning and research initiatives.

The office also provides services and support to ensure that the five academic colleges and other academic administrative units are advancing UT Tyler’s mission.
