UT Tyler students work in a chemistry lab during a class led by Dr. Tonya Shtoyko, assistant professor of chemistry. 

The Department of Chemistry offers the bachelor of science in chemistry, master of science in interdisciplinary studies, courses in geology and physics and secondary teacher certification in chemistry and physical science.
