UT Tyler Studio Art Faculty Exhibition Artists to Give Gallery Talks

The 2008 UT Tyler Studio Art Faculty Exhibition artists will give lectures to discuss their featured work, Ray Sikes, Meadows Gallery coordinator, announced.

This year’s exhibition highlights the following art faculty within the Department of Art and Art History: Sue Duran, Gary Hatcher, Dewane Hughes, Philana Oliphant, James Pace, Alexis Serio, Sikes and Merrie Wright.

Artists and scheduled dates are:

• Hughes, Duran, Oliphant and Hatcher – Sept. 11.            
• Serio, Wright, Sikes and Pace – Sept. 25. 

Both gallery talks begin 4:30 p.m. at the Meadows Gallery, which is located in the UT Tyler R. Don Cowan Fine and Performing Arts Center.
