Classes Continue as Scheduled

University officials continue to monitor weather conditions, and as of noon today, all classes will proceed as scheduled.

The latest information will be announced via the university Web site and campus email. If there is a loss of power or Internet service, please monitor local radio stations for information.

Based on information from the National Weather Service as of 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, UT Tyler will resume classes at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2.

University officials continue to monitor weather conditions and will post another update at 12 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2 -- unless a change in weather conditions warrants an earlier posting -- regarding the status of the campus.
