Jesse Acosta serves as UT Tyler’s Chief of Staff within the Office of the President.

As the president's chief, Acosta coordinates activities and projects for the President's Leadership Team with general responsibility for the enhancement of operations and the flow of information within the senior administrative staff. 

He also serves as a liaison to campus, community and government organizations on behalf of the university.
