UT Tyler Foreign Film Festival

A foreign film festival, sponsored by the Intercultural Affairs Committee, will kick off Friday, April 4 at UT Tyler.

The festival will feature the following:

• “Children of Heaven”- April 4
• “Monsoon Wedding”“- April 11
• "Autumn Spring” - April 25

All viewings will begin at 8 p.m. in the University Center. University students, faculty and staff are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.

“We want to hold this festival to increase understanding between cultures,” said Dr. Debbie Mahoney, UT Tyler Intercultural Affairs Committee chair. “The three films demonstrate the universality of the human experience. The first one is about childhood, the second is about coming of age and marriage and the third film deals with aging issues. As human beings, we all face these same issues if we are fortunate enough to live a long life. We hope for a great turnout to support this event.”
