Sorority Recruitment to be Held Sept. 13 - 16
Editor’s Note: In keeping with UT Tyler's strong tradition of quality, many new and exciting university additions will debut this fall to further enhance the academic experience and campus life. In this series, we will take a look at some of those opportunities planned for the fall semester.
The UT Tyler Panhellenic Association will hold sorority recruitment for all eligible UT Tyler women Wednesday, Sept. 13 – Saturday, Sept. 16, Mindy Sutton, director of student development, announced.
The registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 8.
To participate in fall recruitment, women must be registered for 12 semester hours with at least three hours taken at UT Tyler. The GPA requirement varies from chapter to chapter with a minimum of 2.25.

Turn in the form and registration fee to the student development office in the university center, room 111 or mail them to:

Forms received before Sept.1 will be assessed a $20 fee, and forms received after Sept. 1 will be assessed a $30 fee. Fees will cover recruitment expenses, including a t-shirt and snacks during the recruitment week. Checks should be made payable to the UT Tyler Panhellenic Association.
UT Tyler’s three sororities are Alpha Chi Omega, Delta Gamma and Gamma Phi Beta.
