University to Dedicate Health Clinic on May 16
A dedication ceremony for the University Health Clinic at Tyler will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, UT Tyler President Rodney Mabry announced.
The UHC has moved to its permanent location on the corner of University Boulevard and Patriot Drive and is open for business.
Serving the students, faculty and staff of UT Tyler, the clinic is operated by the UT Health Center at Tyler. The UT Tyler student medical fee covers unlimited patient visits for currently enrolled students.
The 10,000-square-foot facility houses the student clinic as well as a separate medical clinic for the Tyler community.
The UHC will begin its summer hours on Monday, May 8.
Hours will be 8:30 a.m. – noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 1 – 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Visits are by appointment for routine and preventive care, walk-ins for medically urgent care are accepted during regular hours. For more information about clinic services, visit http://www.uttyler.edu/clinic.
