Dr. Standridge, Writing Center Director and Assistant Professor of English, studies theories and practices of teaching writing skills in the classroom as well as the writing center. She specializes in teaching First-Year Composition as well as writing center studies. Her research focuses on close analysis of actual tutorial experiences in order to better understand both what happens in and how students and tutors respond to the writing tutorial.
