The University of Texas at Tyler's Information Security Office provides leadership and oversight to ensure that UT Tyler's Information Security program:

• effectively reduces the risk to the information assets under its stewardship against unauthorized use, disclosure, modification, damage or loss;
• effectively secures the information assets under its stewardship against unauthorized use, disclosure, modification, damage or loss;
• is documented and verifiable, and meets regulatory and UT System compliance requirements;
