Friends of the Arts 
The University of Texas at Tyler Friends of the Arts was established in 1985. It is an organization of scholars, patrons of the arts and benefactors whose primary purpose is to support the visual and performing arts by:
- expanding resource materials for the programs of the Art and Music departments
- bringing noted artists and speakers to campus
- providing student scholarships
- contributing to the development of collections of the Robert R. Muntz Library
- organizing day bus trips to area cultural events

Membership dues: Family Membership: $250.00 and Single Membership: $150.00.
Friends of the Arts Application
Memberships include prior notice of unique entertainment hosted in U. T. Tyler’s Cowan Center and Braithwaite Recital Hall, free admission to performances by U. T. Tyler students enrolled in the School of Visual and Performing Arts, and special events sponsored by the President of the University.
