Dr. Dennis Combs and graduate students from UT-Tyler can provide some limited testing, diagnostic, and therapy services to interested individuals.
These services are arranged on a case by case basis and Dr. Combs, who is a licensed psychologist, supervises any student work.
Assessments usually focus on diagnostic issues such as determining what diagnosis a person has and whether some form of psychosis is present. Also, cognition and problems in cognition are typically examined.
Consultation with area mental health providers and physicians can be arranged as well. Issues involving diagnosis, medication non-compliance, cognitive functioning, and treatment planning are possible areas of discussion.
