College of Engineering and Computer Science
Summer 2012 Camps
DIVE Engineering Summer Camp- - July 9-12
This residential camp provides an exciting and challenging opportunity for young engineers and scientists to explore the principles behind engineering and computer science while working in a group using the WaterBotics Curriculum. "The WaterBotics curriculum scaffolds learning and mastery through a series of increasingly complex challenges that build successively upon each other. These four, team-based, hands-on design challenges enable learners to progress gradually to the final challenge, which integrates everything from the previous challenges. Through this process, teams gain experience with iterative design and design cycles, seeing first-hand the value of testing and redesign." (Waterbotics.org)
Campers will have an opportunity to work closely with faculty and students while participating in hands-on activities in computer science, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
