BAAS Degree Plans

The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) is a transfer degree completion program only. The BAAS degree program prepares students for managerial careers in technical fields. This program offers a seamless transition from the associates of applied arts and sciences degree in technical fields earned from community colleges to a bachelor's degree.

 

BAAS 2008-2010 Degree Plan

Students admitted to The University of Texas at Tyler during
Fall 2008 or later must follow the 2008-2010 catalog.

 

BAAS 2010-2012 Degree Plan

Students admitted to The University of Texas at Tyler during
Fall 2010 or later must follow the 2010-2012 catalog.

 

BAAS 2012-2014 Degree Plans:

Students admitted to The University of Texas at Tyler during
Fall 2012 or later must follow the 2012-2014 catalog.

       2012-2014 BAAS in Retail Enterprises
       2012-2014 BAAS in Industrial Management 
       2012-2014 BAAS in Small Business Operations
       2012-2014 BAAS in Manufacturing Management
       2012-2014 BAAS General/Technical Option (no specific emphasis)

 

The BAAS degree program prepares students for leadership roles in business and industry. Students will also conduct comprehensive analysis of individual and group behaviors in organizations, and learn to develop and deliver effective training programs.

Please note- this major is only available to those students who have earned an associates of applied arts and sciences.
