Sheryl Dennis

Sheryl Dennis is Associate Vice President for Business Affairs at the University of Texas at Tyler.  Sheryl came to UT Tyler from the Texas A&M University System where she had worked at the Physical Plant in College Station for eight years in various accounting positions and later as the Controller and Director of Accounting at A&M Texarkana for over nine years.  She has been an adjunct professor for the past eight years for Texarkana College and A&M Texarkana teaching financial, managerial, and governmental accounting.

Sheryl graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a BBA degree in accounting and received a MS in accounting from Texas A&M University.

Sheryl is married to her high school sweetheart, Mark, and has two grown children.  Having been raised on a farm and ranch in the Texas panhandle, she has made her home in the Tyler area with three dogs and three horses.
